Who Am I?
My name is Edith (She/Her It/Its), and I’m a proud trans woman who began Hormone Replacement Therapy on April 14th, 2024. While my journey with HRT is still relatively new, I came out in 2018 to some friends, but in 2023/2024 I found my real friends. Who have helped me along my journy.
Growing up I had little to no understanding of HRT, or even what Transgender was. At the time of writing at the age of 21, i can happily say the knowledge ive learned and been given by those aorund me, has helped to shape me into a better person, and to finally have the experience to become my true self.
Why I Created MyHRTSafety
I know for myself, having the confidence to search for information, to ask those around me for help even, simply wasnt there. Ive created this project in an attempt to provide information for those wanting to potentially explore DIY HRT, and how to do it safely. Trusted resorces to get HRT from, and an explination of Blood tests and the verious hormones. So that you can better understand what your results mean if youve had a test.
